	Revelation in Christian Art A series of Christian Art paintings with contemplation as a theme. The personal experiences and questions that keep us going. A remake-remoulding of ones life, what does it mean to struggle with the question "Where is God when I need Him?" Contemplating heaven and what will it look like, will there really be a glass sea, surrounded by rejoicing people? Will there be a rapture and is it scriptural, or is it a wishful easy way out?
	The Song of Songs / Solomon. The inspiring story-line is unsurpassed in Christian art and poetry. The dark-skinned shepherd girl, finds herself the centre of the love of the King. At first she feels inadequate, confused, scared and unsure. She discovers that she IS beautiful and a new creation "The Garden" and that she co-owns the vineyard she once worked in as a laborer.
	The Psalms in Christian Art This series attempts to visualize the Psalms, and tries to express the strong affection found between the Creator and His creation. People have always been the object of His loving teachings, prophesies and revelations. Some of mankind had an insight in the ways God was teaching them and started communicating back to Him in times of trouble, hardship and even entered into a rejoicing worship.
	Prayer in modern Christian art The uncluttered and trusting child's prayer. The laboring prayer warrior, gets knocked down and gets up again. Intercessory prayer, does not strife or labor. Prophetic prayer is the one with the surprise element and is very powerful. Last but not least is the most common petition prayer.
	The Job / Joel / Church Series Job, from rich to poor, losing everything including his family. Job repents and gets blessed again. Joel, The Joel series paintings picture the amazing miracles and acts that will happen to end-time Judah/Israel. The Church, The seven "Revelation" churches are pictured here in a modern challenging way. Monsma's artwork seems to generate a visual spiritual experience in some, or a prophetic touch in others.
